Marubeni Scholarship Foundation founded in 1989 is aimed to assist less-privileged young men and women to acquire technical education. They found a new kind of friendship through the help of Xepto and its provision for Xepto Digital Classroom (XDC). This February 12, 2019, MSF signed a contract with Xepto and the Department of Education for an XDC package and awarded this  endowment to the Amadeo Elementary School in Cavite.

Present in the signing (right to left) were Mr. Naoto Tago President of Marubeni Philippines Corporation, Mr. Antonio Ernesto R. Tarroza Jr., General Manager of Xepto, Mrs. Elvira Ambagan Principal of Amadeo Elementary School, Mr. Celso Vivas, Board Member, Marubeni Scholarship Foundation, and Mrs. Marilyn Panganiban, officer-in-charge of Partnerships DepEd-Calabarzon Region.

Part of the endowment is the capacity-building of the teachers who will develop ICT competency skills particularly in creating courses in a blended learning approach.●
